The Perfect time to Get Married this 2013

getting-married

First of all, I wanted to greet everyone a Merry, Merry Christmas! I hope everyone has been enjoying their Christmas with their loved ones in each of its own unique way. It is just once in a year after all.

Anyway, I would just love to share all of you one information I have learned today…

Did You Know: This December 28, 2013 is one of the luckiest time to get married?
Though most people wouldn’t really care about the dates when you should get married as it’s just all superstitions. I believe it wouldn’t hurt or kill you – I mean, what’s the harm to do it on that day? Plus, it’s a lucky day – what if it really gives your marriage some lucky streak? Who knows, right? I personally believed in these things and also because my grandfather is a Feng Shui Master who has been all over the world. I almost followed his steps during my early twenties, too – haha!

I also believed it’s not just meant for marriage but anything related to love and romance, too. People think it was just based on superstitions but truth be told – it was actually based on Chinese Astrology and calendar studies gathering wisdom of thousands of years, which should use it wisely and rationally.

Here are some ideas how to spend this day wisely with your partner during this lucky day:

1. Get Married. Save this date and get married – only if you believe you are already with the man of your dreams or woman – ofcourse! If you are a fan of suddenly getting married then – might as well, right? Though, I also believe getting married should be done with careful planning as not just a planning of the whole event but careful planning of your partner, too! So, do take note of that.

2. Make it SPECIAL. Make the night special – create a mood just for you and your partner, you might as well give them something special that night – a ring would be perfect. I believe giving a woman a ring whether it’s a wedding, engagement or promise ring – would be something that would melt every woman’s heart. I mean.. with my experience, I was so speechless when my boyfriend suddenly treated me out on a grand hotel for dinner and suddenly gave me a ring – he didn’t say a word but he suddenly put the ring on my left ring finger. I was like – whoa…. I was silent as I really didn’t know what to say but I was so happy I just ended up hugging him. I felt teary eyed at that time to be honest, haha!

However you spend this lucky day with your partner – as long as you both are happy and enjoying each other’s company – that is truly what counts the most. I hope everyone can enjoy this day with their partner in each of their own loving way. Again, Merry Christmas and Thank you for being a part of my life this year. ;)

Why is December 28, 2013 a lucky day to get married: It was actually based on Feng Shui and Astrology (Hindi/Chinese Predictions) It was said that The right timing, for a long term commitment like marriage, is very critical to ensure that the date and hour chosen are compatible to the birth dates of BOTH the bride and the groom. This is to make sure that on this important day the energies surrounding the happy couple are at the most auspicious and prosperous for them and will follow them throughout as they begin their new life together as husband and wife bringing them happiness, harmony and good fortune! From what I have learned so far – some times, there are challenges in the relationships due to stars alignment but if you get married on that auspicious date, it will bring good luck and energy for the couple – bringing happiness throughout their life.

  3. I’m curious, why is December 28th lucky, you didn’t mention it on your post? hehe does it have something to do with the stars being aligned at a specific angle or something? I’d really love to know! :P We got married on the 8th of April, and I was told that was pretty lucky to since the number 8 symbolizes infinity. :P hehe just thought I’d share. :P

    • Hi Ane.

Yes, so sorry – I’ve completely forgot all about it!

      • That is indeed very interesting! :) Thanks for sharing! :)

  4. Sound like the perfect time of year for many reasons. You can even make it a holiday themed wedding.

  5. We don’t practice any of the superstitious belief because biblically speaking anyone who practice divination and spiritism will not inherit God’s Kingdom. But anyway, wedding is the most awaited moment for all couple and every woman’s dream to have that grand day of her life.

  6. I think every date a couple chooses to get married on is a special date. I am not a Feng Shui fan that’s why I strongly feel that my wedding date which is 04-05-04 is also special. LOL.

  7. It also depends according to some on your birth date and your partner’s birth date as well as your zodiac signs. So many things to consider, but why not? As you’ve said, all these are based on centuries of acquired knowledge, so there’s no harm in consulting. Ultimately, everything will be as according to God’s plans for us.

  8. Not sure I believe all this–but will not discount it either–I have seen too many coincidences in my life!! One thing is for certain-the Moon affects the way people act!!

  9. hmmmm… there’s nothing to lose if you will believe in Feng Shui but to each is still his own. Good Luck to all those who are getting married on this date.
