Product Review: Etude House Baking Powder B.B Deep Cleansing Foam

I am not an Etude product fan nor I am being paid for this review. I just want to all my readers know how amazing this product can be.

Just to let everyone know, whenever I do product reviews it’s always based on my experiences with the product and my own personal opinion.

The Etude House has two different Baking Powder Cleansing Foam. The one I am using and doing a review is the Baking Power B.B Deep Cleansing Foam. It is formulated with a baking powder as its active ingredient to penetrate and cleanse the skin deep within the pores, removing make-up and its residues. This product is best to used by BB Cream users.

Rating: ★★★★★

Trust me, I have tried tons of product but nothing compares to this cleansing foam. It’s very mild on the skin, it thoroughly cleanses and not drying at all. The best part about this product is how it was able to really remove my make-up, especially the bb cream I use on a daily basis. As a person who can’t really go outdoors without a bb cream and a sunblock over my face through my neck, this comes as a big deal for me.

I normally would need to use an extra virgin olive oil as my natural make-up remover to make sure that all the residues will be removed, but in using this product you would see the difference and how clean your skin will be right after your first use. It really makes you feel clean and refreshed and with consistent usage of this product, you’d also noticed how soft your skin went out to be as an effect of its daily use.

I give 5 stars for its rating because of the satisfaction you get from using the product. For me, it is totally worth the money you paid for plus, I didn’t even get any break outs with this product even though I do have sensitive skin. I have really dry skin but in using this product, my skin felt so rejuvenated and I didn’t felt any dryness despite of my consistent usage due to my morning and night facial cleansing routine. You might as well try out this product and see the results yourself!

The Etude House Pink Fair 2012

The Etude House Pink Fair 2012 has now ended and I know you would agree with me that it was a whole lot of fun and excitement! I arrived at the event around 1pm to meet up with a friend when I saw a big, big line-up in SM The Block, Atrium and saw tons of ladies registering for the event. I am sure that despite the long lines during the event, everything was worth it in the end. There were fashion and styling talk and lessons hosted by Etude representatives and expertswhere in ladies were able to learn more about what style would fit for their own different body types. There was also a Beauty 101 Classes for everyone to get to know more about make-up and skin care.

Just like any fair, there are a lot of freebies, interactive games, and booths. Speaking of freebies, check out the items I got on this event: Meg Magazine, Honey Bee Hand Cream, Banana Body Lotion, and Dress Room Shower Cologne. I actually wanted to get a free make-over in Etude, unfortunately, the line was so long – like seriously long to the point the whole are is so crowded, you wouldn’t even know what to line-up for anymore! Is it the Doll-Me Up booth? Who am I booth? Is it the Make-Over and Skin Care booth or the Photo Booth section. I tell you, it’s crazy!

It was so crowded on Etude House Pink Fair that I ended up not lining up for anything at all. Instead, I went to their boutique on the 2nd Floor Level of SM The Block to purchase some of their products. These are the products that I really like on Etude and have I ever told you girls that when it comes to skin care, Etude will never fail you. They are not just about cute and good packaging, but their products has its own quality that you can’t just ignore and let it pass you by.

I also got a cake as a freebie from what I have purchased in Etude from Tous les Jours. Ain’t that just too pinkish, beautiful and sweet? It’s especially made only for The Etude House.

Overall, it’s fun, enjoyable and a stress relief kind of event. Definitely one of the memories that will always remain special for me.

I also met with Bella from Les Moda who texted me during the event that she saw me walking around so, we decided to meet up. Yay! She’s such a sweet, beautiful and lovely young lady. It was my pleasure to meet you dear!

The other photo on the right was me and my friend, Melle. It was a stolen shot photo at Four Fingers right after we had our late lunch. I knew she wanted to take a picture of both of us together but I am didn’t know she would immediately take a shot of our picture while I am not even fixed and ready yet, lol. Oh well. It was fun and I enjoyed every moment I had the entire day!

PS. I actually received the tickets 10 minutes before I actually leave the house to meet up with my friend in SM The Block.

I’m going to blog all about the Etude House Pink Fair Playhouse 2012 on my next update. Since I am off to SM The Block once again to go and visit Forever 21 and check out the Etude House Pink Fair 2012, once again since it’s a two-day fair event. Meanwhile, here are some of my photos getting some snacks yesterday in the Etude Fair Event.

Product Review: Neutrogena Body Oil

Greetings to all! How is summer doing for everyone? I hope everyone is well, happy and enjoying life to the fullest! I

I have been under major stress lately, especially with some setbacks I have been going through. I just had a home-service body massage to make up for it, for the relaxation and peace of mind.

I only prefer to use Neutrogena’s Body Oil for my body during massages sessions. It’s very good on my skin and it easily absorbs and moisturizes my skin overall. It’s definitely a good try especially when you are someone who loves taking care of their skin making sure it’s soft, radiant and hydrated at all times.

Rating: ★★★★☆

The things I love about this product:
– It’s non-greasy and very light when applied on the skin.
– There are no allergic reactions unlike other body oils I have tried.
– The scent smells so good and the moisturizing effect comes to be very smooth on my skin.
– You can definitely see the effects on this product right after your first use.

The things I didn’t like about this product:
– I am not an oil-based product person and I only use this during home service body massages because it can be really messy and hassle to apply all over my skin. If you are a person like me, you either want to use this during body massages sessions or try to use a body lotion, moisturizer or body creams as an alternative.

I would recommend this product to those people who loves moisturizers and who wants the smooth feeling effect that could last all night long. I would also recommend this to those wants to look exquisite on a night out. The smooth and healthy glowing effect will definitely show and everyone can benefit on this product, especially if it has been constantly used.

You can purchase this product to any of your local drugstores or any Neutrogena outlet. The price might be a little pricier than most body oil out in the market but you can be assured that it’s worth every penny you paid for. Plus, Neutrogena gives sales and promos from time to time so, stay tune for that. You might as well get this product either free or to be purchased on a much lower price. (PS. I got mine for free when I purchased Neutrogena Hydro Boost Moisturizer.)

My Skin Care Essential Regimen for April 2012

It has been a habit for me to change my skin care regimen from time to time. I am not sure with most of you or if any of you have noticed, but when we stick to the same skin care regimen for so long – it tends to get immune to the product making it ineffective to use for your skin.

So, for this month I would like to share everyone the skin care essential regimen I am using for my skin.

My skin care essential regimen as seen in the photo above:
1. Celeteque DermoScience Hydration Facial Wash
2. Celeteque DemoScience Acne Solutions Oil Control Toner
3. Celeteque DermoScience Hydration Facial Moisturizer
4. Ponds White Beauty Pinkish-White Glow Lightening Cream
5. Missha’s All-Around Safe Sunblock (Mild Essence Sun Milk 45 SPF/PA+++)
6. Dermafirm+ KB Vitamin C Peeling Gel
7. Bodycology’s Cherry Blossom Body Cream

Product Review: Bodycology, Cherry Blossom Body Cream

This Bodycology product is my most treasured item as it is a Christmas gift from my aunt and definitely one of my favorite cosmetics to use for my body since last year of December 2011.

I have been using this since December and I still have some more to use for the coming weeks ahead and it’s already the mid-month of April 2012. This is because it’s a body cream and not a lotion. It makes a whole lot of difference when you put it that way. Even though they are similar to use, a body cream has a thicker consistency than a lotion which tends to be light, non-greasy and easily absorbed by the skin.

Both lotions and body cream gives the moisture that we need back to our skin. I am personally more of a body cream user than using a lotion and I especially like Bodycology’s Cherry Blossom Body Cream because of its fabulous smell and the smooth skin effect it gives which will really last on your skin.

Fact: Body creams are generally very good in absorbing to our skin and known to be the best moisturizer to use for our body. It is highly recommended to use for those people who have dry skin.

Bodycology’s Cherry Blossoms Body Cream PROS & CONS:
– Smells good and is very smooth to the skin.
– It has a handy packaging where you can bring anywhere you wanna go.
– You can save a lot and not waste the body cream because of its thicker consistency.
– The “less is more” concept works on this product!
– It’s pricier than the normal body cream’s we have in our local drugstore.
– You can only find this product online since we don’t have a local store for it here in the Philippines.

Overall, I highly recommend this product especially during night time or cold seasons for more moisture to our skin. Plus, it’s something that works for me which I can really recommend to everyone even to those who have extra sensitive skin.

Note: I am not saying you should use a body cream as using a body lotion or a body cream differs from different people with different climate situation and skin conditions. I hope everyone has enjoyed this product review and was also able to learn some facts between using a body lotion and a body cream.

Tip: To maximize the benefit in using a lotion or a body cream, apply it on your skin right after a bath when your skin is still damp and pat it dry. Don’t forget to give extra care to the dry and rough areas of our skin such as hands, elbows, knees and heels for more softening and moisture effect.
